UK Ranger Training Programme
The UK Ranger Training Programme is designed to prepare candidates for the demanding selection process of the British Army’s specialist Ranger Regiment. Built around a progressive 16-week training structure, the programme develops the physical attributes and resilience required to meet the challenges of selection and service. A combination of load carriage, speed marching, strength and conditioning, swimming and circuit-based training forms the foundation of the programme. Delivered across progressive training cycles, each phase builds upon the previous one, gradually increasing physical demands while developing endurance, strength, work capacity and mental resilience. The objective is to prepare candidates to approach selection physically capable, conditioned and ready for the challenges ahead.
